Capitole, located in alacant, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join its technology team. You will own automated testing across APIs and UI, design robust frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile setup.

You will collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to improve quality metrics and enable continuous delivery. Strong English is required.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA with hands-on test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience in Agile environments.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Professional English (C1) is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and UI.
• Develop automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for Continuous Testing and secure deployments.
• Manage test plans, execution, defect tracking, and coverage using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze results and collaborate with Dev, DevOps, Platform, Architecture and Product teams.
• Contribute to test data and environment management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, PI Planning).
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements and metrics.
