Shipco IT in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Application Developer to turn ideas into scalable software. Design, build, and maintain high‑performance web apps using Python, FastAPI, and async microservices, with Angular frontends and cross‑functional collaboration.

You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, modernize legacy services, implement robust testing, and ensure code quality and reliability. Join a vibrant technology team shaping global logistics solutions.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Python 3.10+ and FastAPI for production microservices.
• Experience with Flask or Django is a plus.
• Strong ability to implement scalable microservices with async programming patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain high‑performance web applications using Python and FastAPI for backend microservices integrated with Angular frontends.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and expand technical expertise.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle: planning, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Analyze requirements, identify challenges, and deliver scalable, well‑documented system solutions.
• Stay current with technologies to keep solutions innovative and efficient.
• Drive testing, optimization, and code reviews to uphold coding standards and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production systems and resolve performance bottlenecks.
