CORUS Consulting is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join an international insurance project. The position is a hybrid role based in Barcelona or Madrid (1 day per week in the office).

You will design and build RESTful APIs, architect database solutions with ORMs, and ensure code quality through SOLID principles and code reviews. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Python experience, deep ORM knowledge (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM), and strong skills in REST API design, async programming, and

• Apply KISS, DRY, and YAGNI.
• Separation of Concerns (SoC): design modular, loosely-coupled architectures.
• RESTful API Design: expert-level experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with async/await and concurrent programming.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
