Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Project Design Manager to join our Madrid, Barcelona or Seville office and support our work with the @one Alliance as part of a remote design and build team.

As lead designer, you’ll oversee feasibility through to detailed design and handover, coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, manage design risk under CDM, drive BIM implementation, and collaborate with project leaders, engineers and regulators to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure.

Formación

• Degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading design/engineering teams on complex infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and design risk management.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects in the water/infra sector is preferred.
• Experience with BIM workflows and digital design processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design process on major capital projects from concept through detailed design and handover.
• Ensure design outputs are integrated to meet operational, commercial, and environmental objectives.
• Act as Principal Designer under CDM regulations and manage design risk.
• Drive digital design excellence using BIM and 3D modelling to improve coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a learning culture.
