Job summary

n8n GmbH is hiring two Security Engineers to identify and reduce security risks across our product and internal systems, leveraging threat modelling, hands-on security expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with engineering, cloud, IT, and data teams to embed security into development, review designs, and drive proactive security practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on threat modelling and risk assessment across product features and infrastructure.
• Ability to validate findings, reproduce vulnerabilities, and create proofs-of-concept.
• Experience securing systems in product-focused environments with strong design mindset.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and act as an internal security consultant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments for product features, AI agents, cloud infra, and data systems.
• Partner with Eng, Cloud, IT, and Data teams to review designs and define security requirements.
• Embed security into development via guidance, reviews, and tooling to enable teams to address risks.
