Summary

As a Senior Product Manager II, you will own and influence the product strategy, roadmap and GTM. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, designers, engineers and subject‑matter experts across the organization to ensure the fast delivery of the best-in-class experience to a global customer base.

Responsibilities

• Experienced PM who is autonomous on most topics, and has started to take a more active role in complex cross‑team discoveries. Responsible for developing earlier stage PMs on specific skills, and is an active contributor to our hiring activities.
• Can identify, diagnose and articulate customer problems and opportunities clearly; evaluate possible solutions and define the impact
• Frame problems and opportunities in terms of Feasibility, Desirability and Viability in partnership with Product Design, Engineering and relevant business stakeholders; prioritising the most impactful initiatives
• Formulate business/user questions, collect relevant data/insights to assess product opportunities that result in impactful OKRs
• Deep understanding of users, personas, use cases of your product and broader Deel
• Plan, drive, and project manage initiatives to ship on a reasonable schedule, leveraging scrum/agile/etc
• Delivering elegant solutions to complex problems from scoping to launch
• Balance short‑term vs long‑term, speed vs debt
• Be a valuable partner to your team (i.e., engineers, design, product ops, operations, etc) in solving user problems effectively.
• Partner with Product Design to ensure high quality/UX of the project/feature delivered and that other teams aren't impacted negatively by the solution.
• Ensures there is always sufficient work in a ready state to support efficient development, but actively keeps a buffer to manage urgent escalations, minimising distraction to the Team
• Ensure major releases have clearly defined and measurable KPIs that are tied to OKRs.
• Analyse results post‑launch, and have clear recommendations for next steps
• Set up dashboards for monitoring progress and ensure your team(s) are actively measuring and optimising for impact and projects
• Identify opportunities, prioritize work, and build quarterly focused + year‑long roadmap
• Update plans based on new data / shifting company priority while balancing speed and cost of switching
• Structure product review sessions, monthly/quarterly/annual planning sessions and get proactive feedback from all stakeholders
• Able to build buy‑in and support for their initiatives from other PMs and stakeholders in other orgs.

• Minimum 5-7 years of product management experience in a fast pace environment (ideally scaleup/start‑up)
• Independent and autonomous leader
• Understanding of both UX and UI

• Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On‑Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
• Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market‑aligned conversion.
• Final pay is based on objective, job‑related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
