Mapal is seeking a Product Manager for Mapal Operating System (MoS) to own the product strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Data, and Operations.

You will drive the full lifecycle, ensure data interoperability across Mapal products, and push for AI-enabled improvements. A SaaS or platform background and hospitality tech interest are valued.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within a SaaS or platform-based environment.
• Experience working closely with Engineering on complex technical products, from discovery to delivery.
• Comfortable with APIs, system architecture, and data modelling.
• Experience using AI throughout product development beyond general-purpose tools.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar and complex systems and turn ambiguity into structured requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Curious, resilient, detail-oriented, and hands-on; able to dig deeper when needed.
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving environment; hospitality tech experience is a plus.

• Collaborate with other Product Managers to identify cross-product functionalities for MoS.
• Contribute to technical design discussions aligning business goals with feasibility.
• Leverage AI across the product lifecycle to improve discovery, analysis, delivery, testing, and optimization.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to measure adoption, stability, and performance.
• Build strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Operations.

Product Manager – Mapal Operating System (MoS)

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team at Mapal and take ownership of Mapal Operating System (MoS) — the core platform that connects and powers all Mapal products.

MoS acts as the source of truth for our global ecosystem: it hosts shared data, global services, and cross-product functionalities that make the entire Mapal suite work seamlessly together.

This role is ideal for someone who understands technology deeply, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable navigating unfamiliar territory — turning technical foundations and ambiguity into scalable, valuable product experiences.

Your Mission:

Define and drive the product strategy for MoS, ensuring it provides a robust, unified backbone for all Mapal applications. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Data, and Operations to evolve MoS as a truly global platform, connecting business and customer needs with technical possibilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for MoS.
• Partner closely with Engineering to translate architectural and infrastructure needs into clear product goals, requirements, and deliverables.
• Navigate complex and evolving product areas, digging into unfamiliar topics and limited documentation to uncover requirements, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with Engineering throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery and delivery to troubleshooting, bug fixing, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data consistency and interoperability across all Mapal products.
• Drive the development of shared services such as notifications, authentication, integrations, and analytics that can be reused across the ecosystem.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers to identify and prioritise cross-product functionalities that should live in MoS.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, ensuring alignment between business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Leverage AI throughout the product development lifecycle to improve discovery, analysis, delivery, testing, and product optimisation.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to measure the adoption, stability, and performance of MoS.
• Build strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Operations, effectively navigating different perspectives and priorities.

You Are:

• A Product Manager with 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within a SaaS or platform-based environment.
• Experienced in working closely with Engineering on complex technical products, from discovery and requirements definition through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working with APIs, system architecture, and data modelling.
• Experienced in using AI throughout product development, beyond general-purpose productivity tools.
• Someone who can quickly understand unfamiliar and complex systems, connect the dots, and turn ambiguity into structured product requirements.
• A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Curious, resilient, detail-oriented, and hands-on, with the drive to dig deeper when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, balancing technical complexity, business priorities, and customer needs.
