Scopely in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Security Compliance Engineer to join our Information Security team on a hybrid basis, two days per week at the hub. You will design, build, and scale privacy-aware systems across a global tech organization, translating regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions.

Formación

• >5+ years in information security, privacy or related technical roles.

Responsabilidades

• Embed privacy by design into product, platform, and operational workflows.
• Design, build, and improve privacy engineering capabilities for data subject rights and data lifecycle controls.
• Translate legal/regulatory requirements into technical requirements and actionable guidance.
• Build and maintain tools, services, and automations in Python to support privacy/compliance operations.
• Support workflow orchestration using Temporal or similar platforms.
• Work in AWS to operate secure, scalable privacy-related systems and integrations.
• Write and deploy SQL to archive/purge data and document data for privacy requirements.
• Partner with engineers/architects to implement data solutions while protecting sensitive data.
• Conduct privacy assessments, identify risks, and drive mitigation via tools and guidance.
• Review new systems/data flows for privacy impact and design technical controls to reduce risk.
• Partner with product/engineering to design privacy-preserving solutions including data minimization, retention, deletion, and access.
• Manage projects from requirements gathering through delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Improve documentation, reporting, evidence collection, and operational processes for compliance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data quality via automation.
