Scopely is seeking an Associate Counsel, Product & Privacy to join our legal team in our Barcelona hub on a hybrid basis. You will report to the Senior Director located in Barcelona and will collaborate with multiple game teams, QA, Infosec and business functions across our mobile games portfolio.

In this role you will provide day-to-day product counsel, advise on marketing, promotions and IP, and support EU regulatory initiatives affecting video games, data privacy matters, and scalable legal

Formación

• 3+ years of legal experience in tech, gaming, or consumer products.
• Experience advising on marketing, IP, privacy, and product matters.
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection requirements; ability to handle routine questions.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as day to day product counsel for game teams on features, events, launches and live ops.
• Advise on marketing and advertising matters across Scopely titles, including promotions and campaigns.
• Lead legal support for tournaments, contests, and other promotions with IP considerations.
• Support strategic IP counseling, branding, licensing, and asset clearance with business teams.
• Support EU regulatory initiatives affecting video games and data privacy matters.
• Develop practical guidance, templates, and scalable resources for marketing and consumer protection topics.
• Identify opportunities to simplify recurring legal work via processes and AI-enabled workflows.
