Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repair and maintenance of generators and associated components at customer sites in Spain.

You will collaborate with product specialists, ensure safe operations, and document all service activities. The role requires hands-on experience with power generation equipment, ability to troubleshoot using documented procedures, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diagnose complex repairs on generators and power generation equipment.
• Perform field servicing and maintenance at customer sites.
• Interpret service documentation and use standard shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Establishes productive customer relations and ensures prompt attention to customer needs.
• Applies specialized tools and follows procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer site.
• Performs preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field.
• Escalates unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor.
• Coaches technicians and apprentices and may review repair plans and parts lists.
• Completes service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
• Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
• Adheres to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and reports issues to management.
