Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Spain is seeking an Engine Workshop Technician for the Aftermarket Service Spain Country Support Department in San Fernando de Henares.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, and the role is fully on-site Monday to Friday with up to 10% domestic travel. You will contribute to high-quality engine repairs, support with cleaning, inspection, disassembly and assembly, and assist with basic repair and maintenance activities while following SRTs and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn to safely support engine, alternator and generator inspections, repairs and assembly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring repairs are completed to SRTs, procedures and company standards.
• Safety-first mindset, following Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Good organization and teamwork to maintain documentation, tools and work areas and support workshop operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to high-quality engine repairs by supporting cleaning, inspection, disassembly and assembly to company standards.
• Support workshop productivity by assisting with basic repair and maintenance activities per SRTs and procedures.
• Help improve equipment reliability by assisting with alternator modifications and generator inspections/servicing.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Demonstrate attention to detail by accurately completing work records, timesheets and service documentation.
• Build technical expertise through training and hands-on learning to perform increasingly complex maintenance tasks.
• Promote a strong safety culture by following HSE policies and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Support workshop success by assisting with a variety of maintenance activities and contributing to team goals.
