Cummins Inc. is seeking a technical specialist to diagnose and execute complex repairs on generators and components at customer sites. The role involves preventative maintenance, adhering to safety standards, and documenting service activities.

The technician will develop customer relationships, provide guidance to apprentices, and escalate issues when needed to ensure timely resolution and high-quality service.

Formación

• Diagnostics Application – translates customer complaints to develop troubleshooting plan and documents results.
• Electronic Service Tool Application – uses tools to diagnose and troubleshoot service events.
• Power Generation Systems Knowledge – knowledge of Cummins systems and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses and executes complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.
• Establishes and develops productive customer relations and ensures prompt attention to customer needs.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities per schedules on power generation products in the field.
• Escalates unresolved issues to product specialists or Supervisors.
• Completes required documentation (service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims) in business systems.
