Cummins Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site.

The role emphasizes building strong customer relations, applying specialized tools, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting activities to ensure service quality and safety.

This position requires field- based work and a commitment to safety.

Formación

• Diagnose and repair complex issues at customer sites following documented procedures.
• Provide technical escalation to product specialists when needed.
• Coach and develop technicians and apprentices as required.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes productive customer relations and ensures prompt attention to needs.
• Uses specialized tools and follows procedures to diagnose and complete repairs at customer sites.
• Performs preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field.
• Escalates unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor.
• Coaches technicians and apprentices and transfers knowledge.
• Completes service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
• Maintains clean and functional service vehicle and tools.
• Adheres to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and reports incidents.
• Communicates effectively across audiences with clear multi-mode messaging.
