• 8+ years of experience designing, building, maintaining and troubleshooting high-traffic distributed systems.

As a Software Platform Engineer at Preply, you will own the availability and performance of mission-critical services while expanding platform tooling and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, observability, and incident response, shaping core services used by production traffic. The role blends software engineering with cloud infrastructure in a dynamic, supportive environment that values growth andMentorship. • Practice blameless postmortems and sustain incident response

• Extensive experience (~8 years) in designing, building, maintaining and troubleshooting high-traffic distributed systems
• Proficient software engineering skills with strong coding in one or more languages (preferably Python)

• Willingness to participate in paid on-call rotations
