BME | Bolsas y Mercados Españoles is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Analyst to support and evolve Clearing applications, using Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, and Linux. You will join an international team and contribute to a unified European Clearing platform in Madrid or Barcelona.

The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and complex data processing within a modernized ecosystem, with a hybrid model and on-call responsibilities. Fluency in Spanish and English (B2) is required.

Formación

• Strong expertise in Oracle databases and advanced PL/SQL development.
• Solid background in application and system architecture, especially in complex legacy environments.
• Some experience with Java (microservices architecture) and Linux environments will be highly valuable.
• Good level of Spanish and English (B2 minimum), both written and spoken.]

Responsabilidades

• Develop a deep understanding of the Clearing applications ecosystem and data models.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions for critical Clearing processes.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents as part of L3 support.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes to improve stability.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations; on-call is compensated.
• Collaborate with architects to evolve legacy systems and integrate with microservices.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and handover processes.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient Clearing services.
• Support re-architecture and next-gen Clearing platform initiatives.
