Holtec is seeking a Pipe Support Engineer to design and implement pipe support solutions ensuring structural integrity, constructability, and functionality of piping systems. The role involves developing support configurations using 3D tools and coordinating with stress, layout, and structural teams.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Structural Engineering and 5+ years in piping support engineering, with familiarity in ASME B31.1/B31.3 and MSS standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of piping support engineering experience.
• Knowledge of pipe support hardware and thermal expansion effects.
• Familiarity with piping stress analysis outputs.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and MSS standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design pipe support systems including rigid supports, spring supports, snubbers, guides, and anchors.
• Interpret piping stress analysis results and develop appropriate support configurations.
• Prepare and review pipe support drawings, standards, and fabrication sketches.
• Perform support design calculations and load evaluations, and prepare and review pipe support analysis reports for various piping systems, including WPA evaluation.
• Coordinate with piping stress, layout, and structural teams.
