Ebury Madrid is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support our global team of 1,900+ professionals across 29+ markets. You will own end-to-end payroll processing, ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness, and collaborate with Finance, HR, and our payroll provider.

This hybrid role (4 days in office, 1 day remote) is a six-month contract with extension potential. You will stay updated on local regulations, drive process improvements, and contribute to a seamless employee experience.

• At least 2 years’ experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
• Experience with a global payroll provider/system, preferably CloudPay.
• Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
• Problem solving mindset & positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)

Responsabilidades

• End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
• Analysis and documentation of each country's control framework and payroll processing guidance.
• Ad hoc project support. Manage relationships with various stakeholders (Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
• Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
• Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
• Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.

As a Payroll Specialist at Ebury, you are the technical and operational heart of the employee experience. You ensure our global team of 1,900 + professionals across 29+ markets is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.
