IDEMIA Malaga, Spain, seeks a seasoned Software Development Engineer to transform requirements into robust backend services using Java EE 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot in a hybrid work setup.

You will design, implement and optimize backend systems, promote AI-supported development, and mentor a small team while collaborating with global teams. This role requires 4–5 years of experience and strong English communication.

Formación

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in software development for commercial software products; senior profile favors broader enterprise experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Java EE 17 or higher.
• Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services in production environments.
• Experience with software engineering best practices and secure coding.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted software development tools or willingness to adopt them.
• Ability to promote AI-supported development practices within the team and define guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Transforms requirements into software according to design to maximize business value.
• Identifies reusable components, libraries and frameworks.
• Applies coding standards, secure coding, reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations.
• Contributes to requirement analysis and estimations.
• Supports testing, deployment, maintenance and evolution by addressing issues and enhancements.
• Builds software structure including functions and design patterns.
• Documents solutions via comments, layouts, diagrams and charts.
• Contributes to Software architecture and technical studies.
• Codes large and complex modules within agreed quality, deadlines and cost.
• Performs design and code reviews and optimizes performance.
• Contributes to governance and complex troubleshooting.
• Coaches and can manage a small team of Software Development Engineers
