Henkel in Barcelona, Spain seeks a Supply Chain Planner to translate production plans into mid-long term MRP, ensuring material availability and optimal order sizing. You will manage MRP exceptions and collaborate with the site to optimize planning performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in supply chain planning, a BA/Engineering/Supply Chain degree, and fluency in English and Spanish. Hybrid work is offered with weekly site travel to Montornes del Valles.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in BA, Engineering or Supply Chain.
• 3–5 years of planning or supply chain experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Based in Barcelona with immediate availability.
• Experience with planning tools: APO, Kinaxis, o9, OMP.
• Experience with SAP ERP.

Responsabilidades

• Translate the production plan into mid-long term MRP to assure material availability.
• Address MRP exceptions per the production plan/finite schedule.
• Support material inventory analysis and review inventory policies.
• Identify material sourcing risks or opportunities; escalate as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning performance.
• Ensure correct material ordering in quantity and time; optimize order size.
• Collaborate with site and perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material needs.
• Travel weekly to Montornes del Valles site.

What you´ll do

• Translates the production plan into mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring availability ofproduction material under the consideration of forecasts
• Acts on any MRP exceptions in accordance with the production plan / finite schedule
• Supports on the material inventory analysis by reviewing the inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes
• Identifies material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalates issues to the appropriate parties (internal and external)
• Identifies and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance
• Ensures correct ordering of material supply in terms of quantity and time while optimizing order size and minimizing obsoletes
• Collaborates with the site and conducts Rough Cut Capacity Planning for all material requirements vs.qualified sources of supply to support the production plan at an effective cost
• Weekly travel to the site close to the HUB (Montornes del Valles)

• LOCATION: BARCELONA, SPAIN
• Degree in BA, Engineering or Supply Chain.
• 3-5 years of experience related with Supply Chain or Material Planning
• Fluent level of English and Spanish is a must
• Immediate availability and residency in Barcelona
• Digital native and experience with advanced Planning tools (APO, Kinaxis, o9, OMP, …)
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP
• Good team player and motivation to grow up in supply chain team.
• Ability to travel/visit the production plant (Montornes del Valles) on a regular basis
