Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a senior professional to join its Defence IT teams in Madrid. You will participate in deploying, configuring and administering network infrastructures and IT systems that handle classified information, ensuring high availability and security in critical projects.

The role focuses on design, deployment and evolution of network infrastructure with routing, switching, VPN and firewall technologies, and requires strong Linux/Windows Server administration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in administration of communications infrastructures and IT systems.
• Expertise in Routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VRF, PBR, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, ECMP, LACP, STP).
• Cisco and/or Aruba networking equipment.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• VPNs and secure connectivity technologies (IPsec, GRE and DMVPN).
• Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point or Cisco ASA/Firepower).
• Ability to create network diagrams and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deployment, configuration, and administration of network infrastructures and IT systems managing classified information.
• Design, deployment and evolution of critical network infrastructures with routing, switching, VPN and firewall technologies.
• Contribute to modernization of network architectures, integration with virtualization and container platforms, and automation of operations.
