Job summary

Clarivate seeks a Senior Network/Infrastructure Engineer to join our Barcelona team. You will work across Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, A10 load balancers, and Imperva WAF, collaborating with global teams to deliver secure, reliable enterprise networks.

The team emphasizes design, automation, and continuous learning, with opportunities to influence standards and mentoring. Hybrid work in Barcelona is available, with core CET hours and on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
5+ years hands-on Cisco routing and switching (design, implementation, troubleshooting).
Hands-on Palo Alto Firewalls including security policy management and troubleshooting.
Experience with LAN/WAN design, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across layers 1–7.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in complex environments (LAN/WAN/wireless/security/load balancing).
Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices (hardware/software).
Own network incidents and projects end-to-end with defined scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Configure monitoring, alerting, and automated escalations following best practices.
Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely issue resolution.
Contribute to standards, documentation, change management, and mentoring within the team.
