Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking an experienced IT Operations professional to join our SOC/NOC team. You will be the first line of support for customer requests and monitoring, configuring Linux and Windows systems, and managing web servers and databases across a flexible schedule.

You will work on Traefik, Nginx, Envoy and Apache, handle TLS termination, and contribute to continuous improvement. Fluent English and Spanish are required, with German a plus in our diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Linux expertise with kernel tuning, filesystems and system configuration.
• Strong Windows know-how focusing on Active Directory and system configuration.
• Hands-on with web servers (Traefik, Nginx, Envoy, Apache) and load balancers.
• Experience with databases: MariaDB, MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic TLS certificate termination knowledge.
• Independent, structured working style and knowledge sharing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Act as 1st level contact in SOC/NOC for customer requests and monitoring alerts.
• Configure, optimize and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems.
• Operate and maintain web servers and load balancers.
• Handle TLS termination and support database topics in MariaDB, MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Suggest improvements to configurations and contribute to operations growth.
• Train and onboard new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Document work and log time daily.
• Work in shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Take on tasks beyond core role to expand know-how.
