Solera is seeking a technically skilled Linux Administrator to join our Global IT Organization in Andalusia. You will support Linux servers running customer-facing and internal applications within a Data Center environment.

The role focuses on deploying and maintaining servers, ensuring uptime, patching and security, and driving automation with DevOps practices. Collaboration with project teams and thorough documentation are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux servers in production.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in multi‑platform, multi‑data center IT environments.
• Experience automating tasks with shell, Perl or Python.
• Proven experience supporting web-based apps on Apache Tomcat.
• Experience creating and maintaining good documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux servers in a Data Center environment.
• Manage server health, uptime, monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Patch, remediate and secure operating systems per policies.
• Create and maintain OS templates and automate VM deployment.
• Support project teams in design, strategy, and rollout planning.
• Handle daily operational tasks and change requests, tickets, monitoring, triage.
• Produce and maintain server documentation.
• Adopt DevOps practices to automate routine tasks.
