Solera Holdings, LLC is seeking a skilled Linux/DevOps professional to support our data-center servers and customer-facing applications. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers, with emphasis on uptime, security, and automation.

You will collaborate with IT teams to design and implement server rollouts, create templates, and automate daily operations, patches, and disaster recovery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux servers in production.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a multi-platform, multi-data center IT environment.
• Experience automating tasks using scripting languages like shell, Perl or Python.
• Proven experience supporting web-based applications running on Apache Tomcat.
• Experience creating and maintaining good documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux servers in a Data Center environment.
• Be accountable for server health, uptime, monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Patch, remediate and secure operating systems according to security policies.
• Create and maintain standardized OS templates and automate to deploy VMs.
• Assist project teams in design, strategy, planning and implementation of server and software rollouts.
• Perform daily operational tasks such as change requests, tickets, server monitoring and triage.
• Produce and maintain server documentation.
• Adopt DevOps practices to drive automation of routine tasks.
