Nextpower in Valencia is seeking an Experienced Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on Linux kernel modifications, backend services with Python, and cutting-edge cybersecurity and networking features.

You will collaborate in SCRUM, review code in GitLab, and deploy Docker containers. Fluent English and Spanish are required; other languages are a plus. This role blends research and hands-on development in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Engineering or university degree in a science field.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 6–10 years of experience as an embedded software developer.
• Solid knowledge and experience modifying the Linux kernel.
• Solid knowledge of Python and C programming languages.
• Knowledge of Flask backend and Vue.js frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of TCP, Modbus networks.
• Experience configuring and deploying Docker containers.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, RBAC).
• Experience with SCRUM and Git version control.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve existing applications.
• Backend software development.
• Implement and maintain security measures (firewalls, encryption, authentication, authorization).
• Follow QoS-driven development methodologies and Scrum rituals.
• Ensure software quality and meet sprint deadlines.
• Review and approve code merges in GitLab; manage tickets in Redmine as per QoS.
