Nextpower is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer in Valencia to maintain and extend our Linux-based products. You will work on kernel modifications, Python/C development, and Docker deployments within the QoS framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role includes security, sprint planning, reviews, and mentoring, with opportunities to engage in customer facilities testing as needed. Fluent English and Spanish are required; SCRUM and Git experience are a plus.

Formación

• Engineering or science degree required.
• 6–10 years of embedded software development experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve existing applications.
• Backend software development.
• Implement and maintain security measures (firewalls, encryption, auth).
• Review and approve code merges in GitLab.
• Follow QoS-defined software processes and tooling.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Mentor less-experienced team members.
