Job summary

BASE life science is seeking a senior data architect to lead MDM and data platform initiatives for life sciences clients. You will set up data governance, chair design authority meetings, and drive architecture decisions across MDM, data platforms, and CRM integrations.

Within BASE, you’ll develop consultants, shape proposals, and contribute to pre‑sales activities while collaborating with business and IT leaders to deliver robust data landscapes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MDM or data platform implementations.
• Hands-on data governance with a design authority or architecture forum.
• Experience managing and developing people.
• Pre-sales experience (RFPs, proposals or orals).
• Understanding of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery models.
• Understanding CE processes (CRM, marketing automation, consent management).
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead data architect on MDM and data platform programmes for life sciences clients.
• Set up and run data governance, including ownership, standards and decision rights.
• Chair design authority meetings and make architecture calls across MDM, data platform and CRM integration.
• Work with client stakeholders, from business owners to IT leadership.
• Manage and develop consultants in our data team.
• Lead or contribute to RFP responses and solution proposals.
• Present in client orals and pre-sales meetings.
• Share knowledge and help grow our data practice.
