Rondo Energy seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to lead and support legal matters globally, focusing on Europe, the Middle East and Australia. The role will structure, negotiate, and execute complex energy and infrastructure projects, based in Europe (Madrid or London preferred).

You will advise on corporate matters, draft and negotiate term sheets and client contracts, lead project finance structuring, and coordinate with external counsel to ensure compliance and bankability.

Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) required.
• Qualified lawyer in Spain or another EU jurisdiction.
• 10+ years at top-tier law firm or in-house multinational experience.
• Strong project finance and infrastructure/energy project experience.
• Experience with energy-as-a-service, leasing, OEM/CapEx business models.
• Proven track record negotiating EPC, O&M, term sheets and procurement contracts.
• Experience with public funding, grants or regulated energy frameworks is desirable.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Advise on corporate and commercial legal matters, governance and day-to-day legal support.
• Draft, review and negotiate term sheets, commercial agreements, and client contracts, including risk allocation and security packages.
• Lead legal support for project finance structuring and negotiations with equity/debt providers.
• Structure and negotiate long-term partnerships and joint development arrangements.
• Negotiate key project agreements with subcontractors (EPC, O&M, supply).
• Support legal work across Europe and other markets including Australia.
• Coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions as needed.
• Identify legal risks and provide pragmatic solutions aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Project Development.
• Support formation and lifecycle of subsidiaries across Europe with governance and filings.
