J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking a skilled engineer to join a cross-functional squad building mobile and web apps for clients’ investment experiences.

You will work on integrations with digital asset providers, design scalable architectures, and ensure regulatory and security controls are met while delivering high-quality software. The role requires strong Java/Springboot experience, Kotlin, and familiarity with blockchain concepts, REST APIs, and cloud-based microservices.

Formación

• English working proficiency is a must; you will be working with the team in London.
• Hands-on experience with exchange, brokerage, custody, wallet, or settlement systems for digital assets.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality and delivery.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
• Solid understanding of digital-asset fundamentals: blockchains, wallets, keys, signing, transactions and fees, and token types.
• Experience with smart contracts and/or reading on-chain data (Solidity, web3, Infura/Alchemy).
• Familiarity with connectivity to blockchain networks and nodes (Bitcoin, Ethereum, L2s).
• Awareness of regulatory/compliance landscape for digital assets (AML/KYC, etc.).
• Product engineer mindset with track record of delivering high-quality software.
• Experience with REST APIs and Git flow.
• Good communication skills within a delivery team.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain integrations with digital asset providers and infrastructure, optimizing for security, stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product to understand user needs and follow an Agile SDLC; stack includes Java/Springboot, Kotlin, DynamoDB, Aurora/MySQL, AWS.
• Design evolving architectures; use ADRs; microservices on Kubernetes with Kafka and event-driven design.
• Ensure regulatory and security controls for digital asset integrations.
• Own tasks from estimation through release and post-production.
• Identify and resolve prioritised defects affecting balances, order flow, settlement or asset movement.
• Write tests for all code and adhere to best practices for deterministic, auditable paths.
• Participate in releases and code reviews; share knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to technical initiatives to improve codebase and tooling.
• Focus on solving root problems, not just symptoms.
