  • A track record of making clear calls in early-stage, high-uncertainty environments.
  • Excellent communication with creative and technical teams alike.

Responsibilities

  • Shape new games from concept and prototype through soft launch and global launch, working closely with game design, art, engineering, and UA.

  • Define and run validation, including retention and monetization benchmarks and go/no-go criteria at each stage.
  • Own the product roadmap and KPIs for your titles: D1/D7/D30 retention, ARPDAU, LTV, and turn insights into prioritized features.
  • Scale what works by partnering with UA and marketing on growth and building core loops and meta for long-term engagement.
  • Prepare games for LiveOps handoff by setting up analytics, event tooling, content pipelines, and documentation for a smooth handover.
  • Bring the market in through competitor analysis, genre trends, and player research to inform what we build next.

Job description

At WildCard Games, we strive to make games that players want to come back to every day. Our portfolio includes Spades Fever, Ultimate Cribbage, Domino Fever, and more, loved by millions of players worldwide. We're now growing our New Games branch, where ideas become prototypes and prototypes become hits.

The role

We're looking for a Senior or Lead Product Manager to own new titles from early validation through scale. Reporting to the Director of Game Development, who is accountable for the performance of all products across the production team, you'll work with a small, cross-functional team to find out what players love, prove it with data, and build a game that can grow. Once a title is on solid footing, you'll hand it off to our LiveOps team with the systems, documentation, and roadmap it needs to thrive for years.

This role is for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, makes fast decisions from imperfect data, and knows when to double down and when to kill an idea.

What you'll do

  • Shape new games from concept and prototype through soft launch and global launch, working closely with game design, art, engineering, and UA.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Game Development to make sure your roadmap aligns with company objectives and portfolio priorities, share regular updates on product performance, and agree on the key decisions and trade-offs for each title.
  • Define and run validation, including retention and monetization benchmarks and clear go/no-go criteria at every stage.
  • Own the product roadmap and KPIs for your titles: D1/D7/D30 retention, ARPDAU, LTV,, and turn insights into prioritized features.
  • Scale what works by partnering with UA and marketing on growth and building the core loops and meta that support long-term engagement.
  • Prepare games for LiveOps handoff by setting up the analytics, event tooling, content pipelines, and documentation a LiveOps team needs to take over smoothly.
  • Bring the market in through competitor analysis, genre trends, and player research that inform what we build next.
  • Lead and mentor: guide other PMs, set product standards across the New Games branch, and contribute to portfolio strategy.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience in mobile games, including at least one title taken from soft launch to scale.
  • Hands-on experience with F2P monetization, game economies, and retention mechanics.
  • Strong analytical skills. You're comfortable with SQL or BI tools and with A/B testing, cohort analysis, and unit economics.
  • A track record of making clear calls in early-stage, high-uncertainty environments.
  • Excellent communication with creative and technical teams alike.
  • A genuine love of mobile games, and opinions about what makes them work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with classic card, board, or casual social games, and an understanding of what keeps their players loyal for years.
  • Familiarity with LiveOps practices: events, seasonal content.
  • Experience working with UA teams on creative testing and CPI optimization.
  • Previous experience as a game designer, analyst, or producer.
