Job summary

UL Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) Practitioner to join the Product Sustainability team in Europe. The role delivers ISO-compliant LCAs, EPDs and PCFs for global clients, collaborating with global teams and guiding sustainability strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of LCA experience, certifications, and familiarity with EU regulations like CBAM, EPR, and Battery Regulation. Strong data analysis and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in LCA modeling with extensive quantitative data analysis.
• Experience modeling EPDs from LCAs; knowledge of PCRs governing products.
• Comfortable with customers and scoping needs to support sales teams.
• Experience with primary datasets and data gaps; ability to explain data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform full LCA technical service to manage LCA projects and ensure compliance for third party reviews.
• Generate LCAs, EPDs and PCFs; prepare regulatory documentation including EPR, CBAM, EU Battery Regulation.
• Understand global PCRs for core products, especially building and construction materials.
• Manage complex projects and interact with customers, leadership and global colleagues.
• Provide clear, data-driven LCA results for environmental decision-making and decarbonization.
