Alpega in Sant Cugat, Spain, is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join the Carrier Products Team. You will participate in all project phases from analysis to production release and contribute to architectural decisions in an Agile environment.

You will design and maintain scalable Java/Spring solutions, ensure code quality, security and performance, and collaborate with a multicultural team across Europe. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• 4-6+ years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with dependency management tools.
• Experience working and developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, Git.
• Experience using Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing methodologies.
• High standards for code quality.
• A proactive person that is looking forward to learning and growing in an international work environment.
• Fluent in Spanish & English.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in all the phases of the project, from the technical analysis up to the release into production.
• Design, operate, and maintain new and current solutions in an Agile environment to continuously deliver value to customers.
• Drive the software quality, security, and performance through unit, functional, and performance tests.
• Support continuous improvements of the team and the development environment.
• Contribute to technical discussions and actively participate in the architectural decisions of the team.
