AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to build scalable, secure server-side solutions and a reusable client integration system for a mission-critical SaaS platform. You will collaborate with design and product teams to plan sprints, estimate work, and hit delivery timelines.

The role requires 5+ years SaaS experience, expertise in Java and SQL, and knowledge of microservices, observability, and CI/CD practices. Fluent English is expected, with flexible remote/onsite options.

Qualifications

5+ years of SaaS experience.
Proficiency in Java and SQL.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
DevOps mindset with automation and continuous improvement.
Understanding of observability and CI/CD practices.
Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others.
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Build a reusable client integration system following secure cloud software practices.
Collaborate with design and product teams to understand requirements, create estimates, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
Plan and accurately estimate construction and delivery timelines.
Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deployment processes.
Review code and participate in the pull-request deployment process.
