Global Financial Institution in Madrid is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join the Price & Distribution squad. You will design, develop, and enhance FX Options pricing platforms embedded in a global core infrastructure team, collaborating with traders, quants, and infra engineers.

You will help modernise legacy systems while ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of production services in an Agile environment. Strong Java 8+ skills and FX domain knowledge are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8+)
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and/or MySQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency with Maven, Jenkins, and Git for CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of clean code, design patterns, and object-oriented principles
• B2+ English (written and spoken) with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams using Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with JMS, SOAP, REST, JSON/XML
• Testing expertise: JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing practices
• Capital Markets and/or FX domain knowledge (pricing, trading, or eTrading systems)
• Comfortable in a cross-functional environment across development, testing, analysis, and support
• Experience with FIX protocol for API integration in trading or financial systems
• Exposure to TIBCO
• Knowledge of Apache Velocity, Python, or Spring Boot
• Cloud experience: AWS, OpenShift, or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with ORM/JPA, OAuth 2.0, and modern REST API design
• Background in automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining core Java services for pricing, distribution, and trading workflows
• Writing clean, testable code with strong design patterns and SOLID principles
• Participating in manual testing, functional analysis, production support, and incident resolution
• Working across the full SDLC—from requirements gathering through to deployment and monitoring
