UST in Madrid is seeking a proactive Software Engineer to join a cross-functional, DevOps‑driven team. You will design, develop, deploy, and monitor cloud-native applications in a hybrid Madrid setting, collaborating with stakeholders across divisions.

The role emphasizes TDD/BDD, high quality code, and participation in architecture reviews, with strong emphasis on cross‑functional teamwork in an international environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle SQL, RESTful APIs, and SOA.
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab, Jenkins.
• Experience with Kafka, Avro, OpenAPI, UML.
• Familiar with DevOps, including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team operating under a DevOps model.
• Design, develop, deploy, release, and monitor software applications.
• Participate in pull request reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, and feature refinement activities.
• Partner with Solution Architects to design aligned solutions.
• Build and maintain cloud-native, containerized applications.
• Manage deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Share knowledge and contribute to engineering communities.
