Job summary

Miratech, Sevilla, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our global IT services team. You will contribute to development and maintenance of customized software solutions for a major European public-sector client, focusing on tax administration systems.

You will work with Spring, Quarkus, microservices and containers, collaborate with distributed teams, and help drive CI/CD improvements while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate with stakeholders to ensure efficiency and predictability.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
