Adaptive, a financial technology firm, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build high‑performance Java applications and libraries. You will work in a test‑driven, Agile environment, collaborating with peers to deliver robust, scalable trading systems and open‑source components like Aeron, Hydra, and Artio.

You have strong Core Java (Java 17+), familiarity with data structures, concurrency, REST, and DevOps practices.

Formación

• Experience in Java server-side software development.
• Expertise in Java technologies.
• Solid experience programming using Core Java. Minimum Java 17.
• General knowledge of data injection/inversion of control.
• Experience using messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching, HTTP and REST.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop Java applications and libraries.
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug Java applications to ensure smooth performance.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and reusability.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in Java development.
• Pair with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
