Work setup

Responsibilities

As a back-end developer in a Scrum-based team, you will contribute to the development of an actively evolving product. We are building new features while continuing to support its use across three different countries. The technologies we use on the back-end include JavaScript, Java, RxJava, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, Terraform, and Docker. You will play an essential role in maintaining and enhancing our systems to ensure a smooth and efficient user experience.

Requirements

Must have requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java (bonus for knowledge of RxJava and/or Vert.x).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Lambda.
• Passion for building secure, scalable, and high‑availability solutions.
• Proven experience working with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• A DevOps mindset.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in an international team.
• English proficiency: C1/C2 (excellent communication and documentation skills in English).
• Spanish proficiency: B1/B2 (both written and spoken communication).

Nice To Have Requirements

• Experience with modern architecture models such as Microservices, Serverless Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, the Spring Framework, or Node.js is a plus.
