SoftServe Girona is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to help build a simulation and prediction platform for a global fashion retailer. You will design scalable backend services, implement microservices with Java and Spring, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, data‑driven insights across 200+ online and 90+ offline markets.

• Proficient in Java 11+ and Spring Boot with ORM (JPA/Hibernate).
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, and OpenAPI standards.
• Strong testing mindset and code quality practices.
• Familiar with Maven, Webpack, Grafana, Graylog and SonarQube.
• Understanding SOLID, GRASP, and domain‑driven design.
• Experience with microservices and real‑time data processing.
• Able to estimate work and collaborate in Agile environments.
• English (upper‑intermediate) and Spanish fluent for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend features for a scalable platform with real‑time predictions.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and stakeholders on requirements and delivery.
• Build and maintain microservices using Java and Spring.
• Integrate with messaging systems, APIs, and data storage.
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and E2E tests.
