Giesecke+Devrient Spain is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design and maintain secure, cloud-native microservices for our TSM platform. You will lead backend development with Spring Boot 4, REST/OpenAPI, and cryptographic workflows in a Kubernetes environment.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA engineers, drive automated testing (TDD/BDD), and champion secure coding and DevOps practices. Fluency in English is required; hybrid work is offered.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a senior backend Java developer.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot 4, Spring Cloud and Spring Data.
• Experience designing microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency with MongoDB and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building API-first solutions (REST/OpenAPI).
• Knowledge of cryptography concepts (PKI, X.509) and secure key management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with TDD/BDD and automated testing.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end development of TSM backend services and microservices.
• Design and implement robust Java backend applications with Spring Boot 4.
• Build cloud-native apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement cryptographic workflows and secure key management.
• Develop API-first REST/OpenAPI interfaces and maintain contracts.
• Drive automated tests (TDD/BDD) and security testing (SAST/DAST).
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and other developers.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
