Xempus is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to strengthen our Java platform. You will own core components, understand and evolve a mature codebase, and shape our software landscape with scalable, well-architected services.

Formación

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework (Spring Boot) and standard libraries.
• Excellent software architecture knowledge, patterns, and best practices.
• Ability to understand large codebases and drive modernization.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of core components of the Java-based platform.
• Dive into the existing codebase to understand architecture, dependencies and business logic.
• Develop strategies for evolving and modernizing the software architecture.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications and services.
• Mentor engineers on architectural best practices and clean code.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into sustainable solutions.
• Drive initiatives to improve code quality, reduce technical debt and enhance system performance.
