AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Integrations team building mission-critical systems that connect a public safety platform with third-party tools. You will design and build integration workflows using Java and Spring Boot, develop REST, SOAP, and GraphQL API integrations, and contribute to reliable data pipeline architecture supporting Records Management, CAD, and Booking products.

The role is backend-focused, emphasizing clean, testable, and well-documented integration

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building integrations with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate well.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party client systems.
• Develop integration workflows using modern integration platforms and custom services with Java.
• Enhance RMS, CAD, and Booking products with scalable integration capabilities.
• Design secure, reusable, cloud-based integration solutions.
• Write tests, debug production issues, and improve system quality and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deploy processes.
• Participate in code reviews in a pull-request driven process.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver robust integration solutions.
