AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Integrations team. You will design and build backend integration workflows using Java and Spring Boot, connecting a public safety platform with 3rd-party tools and APIs. Focus on scalable, well-documented solutions across RMS, CAD, and Booking products.

The role emphasizes robust testing, code quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Remote/office options offer flexible flextime in a dynamic, Fortune 500‑level partner

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java and the Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building integrations with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with database technologies and proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party client systems.
• Develop integration workflows using modern integration platforms and custom services with Java.
• Enhance RMS, CAD, and Booking products with scalable integration capabilities.
• Design secure, reusable, and well-architected cloud-based integration solutions.
• Write tests, debug production issues, and improve system quality and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and pull request-based development.
