European Tech Recruit busca un Senior IT Systems Engineer para hacerse cargo de las plataformas que permiten a los empleados trabajar de forma segura y eficiente. Diseñarás, implementarás y optimizarás el ecosistema tecnológico interno, colaborando con stakeholders técnicos y no técnicos para llevar proyectos desde el descubrimiento hasta la puesta en producción.

Formación

• 7+ años de experiencia en ingeniería informática o tecnología de puestos de trabajo.
• Amplia experiencia práctica en JAMF dentro de un entorno macOS.
• Experiencia gestionando Microsoft Entra ID o entornos de identidad empresariales.
• Conocimiento sólido de SSO, SCIM y gobernanza de acceso.
• Experiencia en Zero Trust y control de acceso mínimo.
• Habilidades de scripting y automatización con ejemplos de soluciones.
• Capacidad de diagnóstico de problemas y análisis de causa raíz.
• Experiencia en administrar aplicaciones SaaS y herramientas de colaboración.
• Mejora de procesos técnicos, documentación y eficiencia operativa.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación con audiencias técnicas y no técnicas.

Responsabilidades

This is a hands-on senior position spanning workplace technology, identity and access management, endpoint engineering, SaaS administration, security, and automation. You will help shape a reliable and scalable IT environment while improving the experience delivered to employees across the business.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving the organisation's internal technology ecosystem. Working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will lead projects from initial discovery through deployment and ongoing operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and optimising a predominantly macOS device estate using JAMF and enterprise MDM capabilities.
• Administering Microsoft Entra ID and strengthening identity and access management processes.
• Managing device compliance, application deployment, operating-system patching, security configuration, and hardware lifecycles.
• Delivering and maintaining SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, joiner-mover-leaver workflows, and access-governance controls.
• Applying Zero Trust, least-privilege, and secure-authentication principles across the IT environment.
• Building scripts and automated workflows that improve reliability, consistency, and operational scale.
• Administering SaaS and collaboration platforms while maintaining appropriate access and security controls.
• Investigating complex technical problems, identifying root causes, and implementing lasting solutions.
• Improving IT processes, documentation, service workflows, and operational standards.
• Supporting senior stakeholders and teams whose work depends on reliable technology.
• Acting as a senior technical reference and contributing to the development of colleagues.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ of experience in IT engineering, systems engineering, workplace technology, or a closely related position.
• Substantial hands-on JAMF administration experience within a macOS-focused environment.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Entra ID or comparable enterprise identity environments.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management, including compliance, deployment, patching, security, and lifecycle management.
• Practical expertise in SSO, SCIM, identity lifecycle management, and access governance.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust controls, least-privilege access, and secure authentication.
• Advanced scripting and automation capabilities, supported by examples of scalable IT solutions you have delivered.
• The ability to diagnose complex issues independently and conduct effective root-cause analysis.
• Broad experience administering SaaS applications, collaboration tools, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• A record of improving technical processes, documentation, workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to assist audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• A proactive, highly organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A strong service mindset, personal ownership, and confidence leading projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.

The following would be advantageous

• Experience within a technology business or engineering-led organisation.
• Exposure to SaaS access governance, security audits, compliance frameworks, or risk-remediation programmes.
• Knowledge of endpoint security controls and secure-by-design IT practices.
• Experience using automation or configuration-management platforms at scale.
