Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Specialist in Madrid to maximize value from IP intelligence. You will monitor wind-energy portfolios, spot trends, and contribute to core technology developments while communicating insights to product strategy, sales, and R&D teams.

The role requires a strong IP/strategy background, 7+ years in R&D/innovation, and fluency in English with German/Spanish/Chinese as valuable assets. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• For foreign qualifications, recognition as the Spanish equivalent may be required.
• Strong IP, strategy and negotiation background is essential.
• Excels in market intelligence and technical benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Know patent and product portfolios of wind energy players and component manufacturers.
• Detect early trends and brief strategists to align with NX priorities.
• Support NX concept and technology development initiatives.
• Prepare communications and reports for stakeholders in Product Strategy, Sales, R&D, and IP Dpt.
• Lead IP creation activities and brainstorming sessions.
• Assess risks and define mitigation measures.
