Job summary

ADP in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to empower Spain and Portugal sales with HR, payroll and services knowledge. You will lead discovery, shape value messaging, and coordinate with Product, Operations and Sales to improve win rates.

This client-facing role demands credibility in HR/payroll transformation and the ability to communicate with commercial and technical stakeholders. You will support the full sales cycle, contribute to business cases, and deliver clear, actionable

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Business Consulting, HRIS, HCM, Payroll, or a comparable presales / solution consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of Human Resources Information Systems, payroll processes, service delivery models, and business consulting practices.
• Ability to lead value-based conversations with clients and support sales strategy in complex opportunities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Native Spanish language skills
• Strong English language skills
• Commutable distance to our Barcelona office, with full right to work and driving licence in country
• Ability to work effectively across commercial, operational, and technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a consistent focus on quality and deadlines
• Modern technology skills, including the ability to leverage technology, AI-driven tools, and data insights to nurture relationships and sales experience, and improve sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and align them with ADP Spain/Portugal product and service portfolio.
• Support the Sales team throughout the full sales cycle.
• Lead and support client discovery conversations, solution positioning, and proof of concept activities.
• Contribute to HR transformation discussions with prospects and support business case development.
• Deliver expertise on payroll and HR services, including service definition, implementation services, service level agreements, governance, and relevant technical topics such as architecture, interfaces, and security.
• Bring solid exposure to HCM, Payroll, Time, and integration topics.
• Communicate effectively with different audiences, adapting the level of functional and technical detail as needed.
• Translate complex topics into clear, simple, client-relevant messages.
• Participate in client presentations, demos, and selected marketing events.
• Support scripted demonstrations within the candidate’s domain of expertise.
