Job summary

Verisure Madrid is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design electronics for our smart home security systems. You will contribute to schematics, PCB layouts, BOM decisions and validation across hardware and software teams.

The role involves manufacturing support, prototype testing, and collaboration with QA, procurement, and external vendors to ensure cost-effective, reliable designs that scale for mass production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience designing electronics: schematics and layout of PCBs.
• Experience in multilayer and high-speed designs (e.g. DDR, USB, Ethernet, PCIe).
• Experience in design with processors and/or fast MCUs and external memories.
• Experience with testing, validating and debugging prototypes.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and break down hardware requirements.
• Design and documentation of the schematics and PCB layouts.
• Select electronics components and maintain BOMs.
• Support manufacturing, production testing, and factory equipment.
• Collaborate with SW, QA, procurement and external vendors.
