Fever is seeking a senior hardware engineer to own the full lifecycle of electronic hardware from concept to production and post-launch support. You will collaborate with Product, Software, Operations and external manufacturers to deliver reliable hardware for demanding live-event environments.

You’ll balance reliability, cost, and scalability while driving hands-on engineering decisions. The role requires 5+ years in hardware product development, at least 3 years in mass production, and

• 5+ years of engineering experience designing and developing electronic hardware products.
• At least 3 years in mass production and real-world deployment.
• Experience across product lifecycle: specification, electronic design, prototyping, validation, industrialization, production support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development from concept through production and post-launch support.
• Design electronics using microcontrollers and SBCs (Raspberry Pi, Khadas, or similar).
• Build prototypes, validate solutions, and prepare for mass production.
• Improve existing hardware based on operational feedback and customer needs.
• Create and review architectures, schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
• Define manufacturing requirements and support industrialization processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers throughout production.
• Define validation plans, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hardware debugging with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power supplies).
• Diagnose production and field issues, implement permanent solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CE, RoHS, EMC, Radio Directives where applicable).
• Plan production capacity and monitor inventories.
• Evaluate suppliers and packaging solutions.
• Document and share knowledge; maintain design, firmware, BOMs, and change history.
• Train junior engineers on production and repair processes.
• Act as technical reference for hardware incidents.
