Thunes, a leading fintech company headquartered globally, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) to join the Europe-based Engineering team in Barcelona. You will help scale our core platform, build reliable microservices and APIs, and contribute to faster delivery through automation and strong code quality.

You will work with cross-functional teams across multiple regions, applying best practices in Agile, CICD, and performance optimization to support millions of transactions monthly.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Curiosity, motivation and a strong learning mindset.
• Proficiency in Golang and API development.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers.
• Experience with relational databases and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly available services exposed mainly by APIs.
• Design, implement and ship new products to stakeholders.
• Deliver high quality, secure, testable, scalable software.
• Apply agile practices: code reviews, sprints, pair programming, stand-ups.
• Evaluate new technologies and initiatives.
