N-iX, a global software development company, seeks an experienced Technical Lead / Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to guide a high-performing Barcelona-based team. You will shape architecture, drive engineering excellence, and partner with product owners to deliver scalable, secure applications that power strategic initiatives.

This role blends leadership with deep technical execution: mentoring engineers, championing TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and microservices, and championing XP practices including

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 6+ years of Java and Spring experience.
• 2+ years in front-end development with React.
• Experience with reactive UI and Java Streams.
• 2+ years in TDD/BDD with JUnit/Jasmine/Mockito/Protractor/Selenium.
• 2+ years of microservices-based architecture (Spring Boot/Cloud).
• DevOps experience with Jenkins; cloud/hybrid deployments; Kubernetes.
• Strong leadership and prioritization skills.
• Excellent English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor, and foster growth of full-stack engineers.
• Lead architectural design and technical direction of applications.
• Establish code quality, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into tech strategy.
• Direct full-stack development and remote pairing activities.
• Own end-to-end development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Promote XP practices in a highly collaborative environment.
